Jolene (She/Her) holds a graduate certificate in Evaluation and is nearing the completion of her Master of Arts in Community Development through the University of Victoria, and is a Strategy and Evaluation Consultant with KRD Consulting Group in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, Alberta). Jolene leverages extensive program delivery and supervision experience, focusing on supporting youth and families in housing, outreach, and domestic violence sectors. Jolene’s global immersive learning experiences have enriched her understanding of how communities navigate and confront global, structural, and systemic injustices. As an emerging evaluator, she integrates insights from her community-based work with her theoretical learnings, emphasizing systems thinking, equitable practice, dialogic processes, and learning-focused evaluation. As a cis-gendered white settler, Jolene is acutely aware of her identities and privileges. She is committed to utilizing her positionality to foster structural and systemic change that is community-centered and driven.
