Laura Myerchin Sklaroff, EdD, MA is the Director of Systemwide Quality Improvement Evaluation at Comagine Health, a national, nonprofit, health care consulting firm that works collaboratively with patients, providers, payers and other partners to reimagine, redesign and implement sustainable improvements in the health care system. Dr. Sklaroff leads an evaluation team to understand the impact of a variety of healthcare programs focused on primary care, community health, and patient safety in outpatient, hospital-based, and nursing home settings. Prior to her work at Comagine Health, Dr. Sklaroff was a researcher and evaluator at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, the second largest safety-net health system in the country. Dr. Sklaroff has taught graduate level evaluation theory and application at California State University, Northridge nearly 15 years and has numerous publications focused on the evaluation of programs that exist at the intersection of healthcare, social justice, and technology. Her academic interests include the evaluation of long COVID interventions, primary care programs, trauma-informed and culturally responsive evaluation methodology, and uses of technology to improve healthcare. Dr. Sklaroff resides in Southern California with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
