64 - Lessons from Process Evaluation of CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together, a National HIV Social Marketing Campaign

Abstract Information: The Let’s Stop HIV Together (Together) campaign is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) evidence-based social marketing campaign that aims to empower communities, health care providers, and partners to reduce HIV stigma and promote HIV testing, prevention, and treatment. As the national campaign of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) in the United States initiative and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), Together was first launched in 2009 as Act Against AIDS (AAA) and then re-branded in 2019. During this session, we will provide an overview our approach to data collection and quality assurance using federally approved tools, and how these processes contribute to the overall process evaluation of the Together campaign. We will highlight one program within the campaign, the Together Ambassadors programs, which focus on leveraging the knowledge and expertise of federal partners including national community advocates and clinicians in the dissemination of CDC’s HIV prevention messages, materials, and resources under the Together campaign.
