Christopher M. Hall, M.S.W., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Georgia in the Department of Sociology and Human Services. He has over twenty years of direct practice experience working with perpetrators of intimate partner violence, and as a part of that experience he coordinated statewide training and resource services at the West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, was a facilitator and trainer at Emerge: Counseling and Education to Stop Domestic Violence, and developed a new intimate partner violence intervention program at The Retreat in Suffolk County, NY. His doctoral work focused on research methodologies and program evaluation, and his research interests include intimate partner violence intervention, intersectional oppression theory, and interrogating privilege.
