Principal and Owner
Radiance, United States
Robin Horner (she/her) is principal and owner of Radiance (formerly Korwin Consulting, LLC), a learning, evaluation, and capacity-building firm supporting social justice-focused nonprofit organizations, philanthropic funders, and others, including those using advocacy, organizing, and the arts. A member of the LaRED TIG since its early days, she has worked in the evaluation field for over 20 years, supporting systems change, community power building, and leadership development work that is led by and with people experiencing systemic inequities. She draws on practices aligned with feminist and culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE) principles as well as grounded theory research. At Radiance, Robin fosters a company culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and examination of practices in the evaluation and philanthropic fields that promote or impede values of racial, gender, trans, and other forms of equity. She leads her staff in building clients’ capacity to learn from and respond to communities, using group facilitation, workshop and framework design, and user-friendly reports. Robin has presented at past American Evaluation Association conferences on evaluation strategies with coalitions and on facilitating learning and dialogue throughout the evaluation process.
