LatinX Responsive Evaluation Discourse
This poster explores the benefits of engaging Latine participants in Culturally Responsive and Equitable Evaluation (CREE). The poster will include strategies for ensuring Latine communities receive tangible benefits from evaluation involvement, such as capacity building and actionable recommendations. The poster will highlight the importance of amplifying diverse Latine voices, empowering Latine communities, promoting evaluation practices that address power differentials, and advancing social justice through evaluation.
The authors will be present to discuss barriers and share practical strategies for ensuring that Latine participants receive tangible benefits from their involvement in evaluation processes, such as skill development, networking opportunities, and recognition of their contributions. By highlighting examples of how CREE can empower Latine community voices and promote ownership of evaluation efforts, the poster will highlight the value of inclusive and participatory approaches to evaluation in addressing the unique needs and aspirations of Latine communities.
